This commitment to performance has been integral to the company's growth since it was founded by J.R. (Joe) Solomon, C.E.T., FICRI, FACI, a recognized expert in concrete technologies and products.
For over four decades, Joe has played a key role in the research and application of new and innovative concrete restoration processes, including the publication of research papers, participation in regional and international associations and presentations to major organizations around the world.
Joe is a member of long-standing in the American Concrete Institute (ACI), International Concrete Repairs Institute (ICRI) and National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE). He was elected a Fellow of ICRI in 2001 and was also elected a Fellow of ACI in 2002, the first and only Manitoban to be elected as a fellow to both respected organizations. Joe is past president of ICRI and serves on four ACI committees - #503 Polymer Adhesives, #548 Polymers in Concrete, #546 Concrete Repairs and #552 Geotechnical Grouting.
Joe has provided expert opinions on concrete deterioration problems and has been accepted as an expert to testify at arbitrations as well as court hearings.
